Calling all volunteers for new Wokingham Repair Cafe

A new Repair Cafe is starting in Wokingham this spring.
Could you be Wokingham’s version of Jay Blades or one of the local craftspeople bringing household and loved pieces back to life?
Volunteers are wanted for all roles including hosts and craftspeople in the following areas:
  • Clothing/textiles
  • Electrical appliances
  • Bicycles
  • Furniture/wooden objects
  • Computers
There are currently three Repair Cafes in the borough. The next one at Lambs Lane School will be on Sunday 18th February from from 10am to 1pm. The next one at Spencers Wood Village Hall will be on March 5th from 10am to 1pm and the  Woodley Repair Cafe is held on the first Sunday of the month at Christ Church,  Crockhamwell Rd, Woodley, between 2pm and 4pm. There is also a Crowthorne Repair Café normally on the last Saturday of every month at the Baptist Church Hub on Crowthorne High Street. They are open from 10.30am to  12.30pm.
If you’d like more information on the plans for the latest one or would like to volunteer, visit wokinghamrepaircafe.uk
