Garden centre and Involve provide forum for shared experiences

Squires Garden Centre arranged a chance for those with a cancer diagnosis to meet up with other sufferers who know how they feel. Organised in association with Involve, they believe a shared experience can be invaluable.

The first meet up last week provided an opportunity for people to go along to get to know others that understand how their cancer diagnosis may have made them feel, the complexities of treatment and the journey they find themselves on.

The regular gatherings will give people the chance to meet over coffee/tea to chat and ask questions and get to know each other in a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment. You are welcome to bring your partner or a friend.

Liz from Involve was on hand to meet people and if you’re a newbie and would like to join the network you are more than welcome.
