Unique Wokingham Harvest project provides free seeds

Each year, Wokingham in Bloom runs a unique project called Wokingham Harvest. Through this project, they give out small seed selections for new allotment holders and newbie gardeners to ensure they have a successful first year.
One of the volunteers  selected and packaged easy-to-grow, blight and bolting-resistant seeds, including tomatoes, salads and beetroot. The seed packets contain enough seeds for a small garden or allotment plot.
The seeds will be available from 6th March with collection from Wokingham Information Centre in the Town Hall (opposite WHSmiths) between 10am and 2pm Monday, Wednesday or Friday.
If you’d like seeds but cannot collect during the Info Centre opening hours please email bloom@wokingham-tc.gov.uk to make a suitable arrangement.
